We’re with the brand.
MIXR is a PR and communications agency that delivers creative, results-driven campaigns for the live event production, arts and entertainment, venue integration and ICVFX industries.
We care deeply about our client relationships; from shared values and cultivating trust to integrity and transparency from the outset. Our unique strategy combines data-informed insight with old-fashioned, unbridled creativity to achieve meaningful results.
We work with a diverse, talented client base because our team understand the complex relationships across the global industry, the language they speak and what makes them tick (we are ex-journalists after all).
Let’s find your angle, your audience and your next big campaign.
MIXR is an ethical, progressive, full-stack agency for the industries they love.
WHO ARE WE?
Passionate about good storytelling and penning the kind of word wizardry that really gets you thinking, Emma enjoyed a background in magazine journalism for over a decade.
Her foray into trade titles such as darc and mondo dr gave her a taste for entertainment technology beyond her guitar FX pedals. Most recently, she has pivoted into the exciting world of digital and inbound marketing, landing (ok, getting head hunted for) Head of Content roles for multiple mid-size agencies.
Emma has worked with a number of high growth tech brands including Google, Zoom, HubSpot, and Slack. If you put her in the hot seat for Mastermind, she’d probably just talk about LinkedIn.

MISSION, VALUES & CULTURE
Our mission is simple: partner with incredible clients to promote incredible people, projects and technological innovation across a range of communication channels.
We’re passionate about producing technically informed work and nurturing positive relationships through a progressive approach.
-
As a woman owned and operated boutique agency, MIXR is committed to its own educational journey when it comes to diversity and inclusion.
We are a proud LGBTQ+ company lucky enough to work in a fabulously multicultural city. We are dedicated to empowering change in and out of our professional lives.
We’re distinctly aware that technical entertainment is primarily represented by one demographic. MIXR strives to authentically promote and advocate for both the talented minorities within, and those choosing to join this sector.
-
Emma and Kel are both fully accredited Mental Health First Aiders, trained by Mental Health First Aid England on behalf of Music Support, the charity that helps peers who work in UK music and live events affected by ill mental health and / or addiction. The MIXR team are proud to be volunteers for this essential charity.
-
We promote equity and fairness from the inside out, without judgement or bias.
We are dedicated to tackling discrimination and raising awareness for touring and technical opportunities for women and minoritised communities.
“I like your intuition, respect, and integrity; you communicate my brand as it is meant to be represented. You never cut corners and your professionalism at every level is unparalleled. You generate genuine credibility to my portfolio of work, strengthen my ethos and help me to attract the right client base. I’d recommend you to anyone who is keen to keep their values in line with their brand.”
— Jo Croxford, Touring Diversity Specialist
“Kel & emma are invaluable members of our festival safe hub team (a space backstage for artists and crew to speak to mental health first aid trained peers). The music support team are grateful for everything they do to champion our crucial efforts.”
— Lynne Maltman, Senior Marketing & Events Specialist - Music Support
